Small dwarf isopods are used as cleanup crew for multiple different terrarium/vivariums. This specie is most popular used with other combinations of springtails, dwarf whites, and P. Pruinosus/ other isopods depending on your setup. Dwarf white likes to stay within the substrate, whereas other species stay above the substrate, therefore dwarf whites will clean most things just above the substrate or in the substrate and the other isopods will clean above the substrate. For airid setup, you can add P. Laevis instead of P. Pruinosus. P. Laevis can tolerate a drier setup, but will still require some hiding space and some moisture for them to retreat if needed.
